Wellbeing Designers Newsletter
Designing a wellbeing culture via Strategic Wellbeing Education for Human-Centric Organisations and Leaders
Hi Wellbeing Designers,
October passed aways so quickly that I am writing the October newsletter beginning of November! I know...
Let's start with a recent news that many of you might have seen. I took on an additional role as a Senior Advisor at The Josh Bersin Company. I have been excited about the work of Josh and his team for many years! I shared a bit more about it in the podcast episode we did together. I am super happy to be part of the team on the mission together towards more and more irresistible and human-centric organisations. In my advisory role I will be combining my professional experience in culture transformations and leadership development working in management consulting for several years, with my expertise and work in the wellbeing space that I gained in the past few years.
Talking about combining backgrounds... nowadays I enjoy the most to add the greatest value by connecting the dots between individual wellbeing practices and the systemic strategic wellbeing in organisations. On a recent event I talked about the Wellbeing Index and how organisations measure wellbeing. On the other hand being an avid practitioner and teacher of various wellbeing techniques leads me still quite often to give keynotes on individual wellbeing and sustainable performance. I enjoy the combination of these two angles. It keeps me grounded and reminds me how important my own practice is to do this work. Trying to walk the talk while talking the walk! (related to this see a post dedicated to the World Mental Health Day, 10 October)
Wishing you an energizing day,
Reka

Voices from the Wellbeing Designers Community
In this month's Community highlight is Sheila Piper, Health and Wellbeing Lead at Accenture UK & Ireland, who was our 1000th follower on LinkedIn back in the summer. So I reached out to her to connect! This continued with a great conversation and hopefully we will get the chance to do even more work and fun together with her in the wellbeing space in the future.
We are super grateful for two shout outs in our community about the Wellbeing Designers podcast in their newsletters. One is putting us in the top three podcasts along Huberman and Bruce Lipton, and in the other list we are mentioned together with Jay Shetty's On Purpose podcast and with Deloitte's Work Well podcast by Jen Fisher!!!

Insights into our work
This month we connected with some German speaking Wellbeing Designers during the very first Health & Mind Festival in Bregenz, Austria that attracted nearly 900 people.
Read some of my impressions in this post.
I was super happy about the audience feedback received after the event in various formats. Let me share some of the posts here as well by Dornbirner Sparkasse Bank AG, by Verena and by Marina and by Sabine who was also my fellow panelist on the main stage where we talked about Working Culture vs. Wellbeing Culture.
We also kicked off a piece of work with a company piloting different wellbeing approaches. They are very clear on the connection between wellbeing and ways of working. This means that it is not about a big bang employee wellbeing program but about tools built into the everyday processes. Very excited to see the reactions and results!
