Wellbeing Designers Newsletter

Designing a wellbeing culture via Strategic Wellbeing Education for Human-Centric Organisations and Leaders

Hi Wellbeing Designers,

What a year this has been! I decided to write a combined newsletter for these two last month of the year to be more efficient with my energies during my year-end race.

I wrote about some of my 2023 learnings and highlights in this post on LinkedIn a few days ago so I would not repeat that now again.

I promised that this newsletter will be an honest reflection of our journey. Therefore I feel that I need to add some thoughts to have the full picture.

2023 was all about building our brand, creating awareness and starting to do some more robust work with clients. These were based on our three pillars: 1. Inspiration (keynotes and inspirational workshops for leaders); 2. Enablement (advisory work for wellbeing leaders who are taking their organisations' wellbeing journey on the next level) and 3. Scaling (strategic wellbeing education for large groups of employees). This has been quite successful. You have seen our public presence on conferences, giving keynotes, leading panels and some references of our work with clients.

In 2024 we need to prove that this business model is financially sustainable as a source of income for me and my collaboration partners. I will do my best to prove this in the next months because that would be also a statement that our work is bringing real value for organisations and the world.
Your support is invaluable so please cheer for 2024 being our year together!

Happy and energizing holidays for you and for your loved ones!
See you in 2024 again,

Reka
Founder of Wellbeing Designers

Voices from the Wellbeing Designers Community

This month we published a guest article on our blog written by Klara Debeljak who is the fan and an avid listener of the Wellbeing Designers Podcast. She contributes very actively to the health of people in big organisations as a nutritionist. She supports companies in developing and optimising the nutrition aspect of their wellbeing programs, in a way that they empower their employees and help them achieve real, sustainable change.

Thank you for the shout out post for Aurelie Litynski, Positive Work Culture and Happiness Leaders, TEDx Speaker about the Disrupt HR talk of our Founder, Reka. She is also a regular listener of our podcast.

Where we shared our insights

At the very beginning of November Reka gave a keynote in her home country, Hungary during the Active Workplaces Conference to share some outlook on the international Wellbeing Trends. We are grateful for the invite and the ongoing collaboration for Dr. Anna Toldy who is leading the company Work for Humans focusing on the Hungarian market.

Mid November Wellbeing Designers was represented at the Horizon Summit in Amsterdam organised by The HR Congress. Reka led a panel discussion where 3 wellbeing leaders shared their insights about the connection between psychological safety, belonging and wellbeing. The participants were Shlomit Gruman- Navot from OLX, Adina Avram from Trivium Packaging and Dallas FitzPatrick from Majored (that just merged and became Teleperformance employing more then 400k!!! employees worldwide becoming one of the biggest employers in the world 😳 )

Read more about it in this post by Mihaly Nagy or in another post by us.

Last day of November we were at the Disrupt HR Zurich event where Reka gave a 5 minute talk with the title "Wellbeing is the New Culture". See the video below.

Just a day before this talk, Reka also delivered a keynote about personal wellbeing, self-awareness for 40 sustainability leaders in Frankfurt. She guided them through a meditation and mindfulness session as one of the tools to create self-awareness. More about these 2 days in this post.
